Please read the following notice regarding changes to the VAT rates in the Republic of Ireland.
Notice: Increase in the standard VAT rate (Republic of Ireland)
In the Republic of Ireland, the standard rate of VAT increased on 1st Jan 2012 to 23%. To facilitate suppliers who may need to use both the old and new rates during the changeover period, EDI tradefast will allow both the 21% and 23% rates, but not on the same Invoice form. Please ensure that you select the correct rate to apply at the product line level. In addition, the 9% rate is now available.
